Our founder, Kishendra, started Embracing Movement to share his knowledge and experience in dealing with poor mobility. After a knee injury, his body developed discomfort which interfered with simple daily activities like sitting and walking. His poor mobility held him back from engaging in activities he enjoyed, and it frustrated him to feel like his body was working against him.


Going back to basics

Kishendra dug deep to identify possible causes for his pains, committing himself to daily movement practices to condition his body for daily activities like squatting, balancing and rotations. 

He paid more attention to proper form when executing movements, understanding how the entire body is connected and how pain in an area can be caused by another.
